I am a playwright, poet, former journalist.  My dream is to leave behind something beautiful – a forest farm as a sanctuary for the nearly extinct, giant  mountain ravens.  I would like to start a playwrights retreat with a small natural amphitheatre in this forest garden / arboretum.
Connecting with other part Cherokee people is very important to me now, especially since my extended family is all gone, and my parents dead.  I have seeds from floiwers carried along the Trail of Tears, and I would like to take them back to the place they came from, as well as grow them myself, with all the other plants on this incredibly biodiverse peace of land.
